Bubutan Kampong
Becoming one of crowded commerce centre in Surabaya, have become the destiny of Bubutan area. Not to mention supported by the area surrounding, that also become crowded commerce centre, like Praban, Blauran, Raden Saleh, Turi Market, and Baliwerti. That's all representing picture nowadays from Bubutan which was recognized as 'The Bubutan Kampong'. The kampong whereabout still stick connections with one's cap of Surabaya empire in middle ages, when this country scrambled of sovereignty against colonist nations.
Some existing buildings, is true still implies its oldness. Most of them are buldings in colonial period architecture. Its characters are tall, with pillar front side. It was true if some mentioned that Bubutan Kampong's existance still be related with the empire age in the past
